BURGLARY WITH INTENT TO COMMIT ASSAULT
Midland Police have arrested a man in connection with a weekend disturbance.

Bradley Tims (10.30.65) was taken into custody this afternoon.  He is charged with Burglary of a Habitation with Intent to Commit Assault.  The charges are in connection with the incident that occurred on Saturday, April 12, 2008, at approximately 12:30 p.m. in the 3500 block of Humble.  Police received a call of a disturbance from neighbors in the area.  Tims had been banging on house windows and doors, vehicles, and entered the home of a neighbor.  He then ran into the home of his parents at 3526 Humble.  Police attempted to make contact with Tims, however he barricaded himself inside the residence, only opening the front and back door initially yelling at police.

At approximately 5:30 p.m., officers were able to throw gas into the residence and Tims exited without incident.  He was arrested today.
