WATER PLANT UPGRADES
The City of Midland Water Purification Plant, 5006 N. Midland Drive, is undergoing major modifications. These upgrades will allow the City to increase the quantity of water that can be delivered to residents. On Friday, August 22, 2008, the contractor will be on site pouring concrete for the floor of a new tank. The work will be done at approximately 4:00 a.m. to beat the heat.

Residents of the surrounding area of north Midland may hear loud noises during the process. The City is thankful for the patience of its residents.

One of the new additions will be a three million gallon tank that will store treated water enabling the City to deliver more water as demand increases in town. This Friday’s work will include pouring over 500 cubic yards of concrete.
