RUN FROM THE COPS
The Midland Police Department will host its annual Run from the Cops to benefit Safe Place and the Child Advocacy Center.  The event will take place on March 14, 2009, beginning at 10:00 a.m.  The race kicks off at the Midland Police Department, 601 N. Loraine.

There is a 1K fun run and a 5K race.  Anyone interested in participating can find a registration form on line at the Permian basin runner’s club, http://pbrunningclub.tripod.com/.  The form can be filled out and mailed to the Midland Police Department, 601 N. Loraine, Midland, Texas 79701; deliver to the PD before the race, or register the day of the race beginning at 8:30 a.m.
