SWEARING-IN CEREMONY
The Midland Fire Department will welcome three new firefighters. The swearing-in ceremony will take place on Wednesday, April 15, 2009, at 4:30 p.m. at Central Station.

Jeff Coleman, Mark Collier, and Gustavo Rodriguez will take the oath of office. They began their career with the Fire Department on April 1 when they went thru a two-week orientation. Following today's swearing in ceremony, they will be placed on regular shift work.

The media is invited to attend and to help make this a special day for these firefighters.
