AGGRAVATED ROBBERY
One man is in custody following an Aggravated Robbery last night, March 3, 2010. The incident occurred at Poor John’s Liquor Store, 405 N. Lee Street.
Tyrice Dupree Lowery (3-15-83) turned himself into his attorney in Odessa this afternoon. He is charged with Aggravated Robbery.
Last night at 9:00 p.m. (closing time), Lowery walked into Poor John's Liquor Store. Two people were inside the store at the time. He entered and pointed a black semi automatic pistol at the store employee and demanded money. The other subject in the store ran to a back room and locked the door. The second subject had taken all the money into the back room so Lowery didn't get anything although he continued to demand money and pointing the gun at the store employee.
The Lowery ran out the front door, no money taken.
Lowery was identified by the victims as a frequent customer.
