Boot Camp Continues
So you missed the first six weeks of Boot Camp? You are in luck!
 
The City of Midland Parks & Recreation Division will be continuing its Boot Camp Community Workouts. On Monday/Wednesday/Friday from 8:30 am to 9:30 am at Memorial Stadium for the next six weeks starting October 25, 2010.
 
These workouts are free to the public. We recommend arriving a couple of minutes early for first-time participants.

Stabbing
The Midland Police Department at 1:56 am responded to a call at Fast Freddie’s, 4310 W. Illinois.  
 
Victor Nava, 25-years old, and Christopher Ellis, 31-years old had gotten in a fight.  Ellis stabbed Nava once in the upper chest and three times in the back.  
 
Nava was transported to Midland Memorial Hospital, where he is in ICU in critical but stable condition.
 
Ellis was later arrested at 4331 Dengar for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
