City Now Receives E-Mail Inspection Requests
The City of Midland Code Administration Division is now setup to receive email inspection requests.  In order to request an inspection, please send an email to the applicable email address with ALL the required information and the inspection will be put into the system.

Failure to provide ALL of the required information will result in no inspection.  

The required information is:  job address, permit #, type of inspection, contact name and phone number, and any special instructions.

Tall City Parade of Lights Results
The following are the results after the scores were tabulated for the Tall City Parade of Lights that was held Saturday, December 3, 2011.

First Place: Insane Kustomz
Second Place: Natural Gas Service Group Inc.
Third Place: Heritage USA Federal Credit Union

We would like to extend a special thank you to all the participants and to each individual that made this parade possible!

There will be an official presentation of the winning floats at the City Council Meeting at 10:00 am, Tuesday, January 10, 2012 at City Hall.

Structure Fire
The Midland Fire Department responded to a structure fire on 1402 E New York at 11:37 am.  
 
The structure was unoccupied.  The fire was contained to one area.  No injuries have been reported.
 
Seven units responded.  
 
The cause is under investigation.
