Cities Partner to Strengthen Resources and Operations

The City of Midland and City of Odessa Fire Departments will be partnering together starting Thursday, January 26, for twelve hours at a time for ongoing training.

During this time, Odessa will send a crew and engine to Midland and Midland will send a crew and engine to Odessa.  The partnership will allow for firefighters to be able to become familiar with the other departments operation as well as strengthen the resources between the two cities. 

It is many times that the two departments have to work together in emergency situations and this training will strengthen the partnership between the two departments in such situations.
