Tina Jauz currently serves as Assistant City Manager. Prior to her appointment, Jauz most recently served as Director of Community Services overseeing Parks & Recreation, Health Department, Golf Course, Scharbauer Sports Complex, and Animal Services. She started her career with the City of Midland in 1996 as the first civilian Public Information Officer. Jauz also served in the capacity of Assistant to the City Manager. She managed several large construction projects such as the Bush Convention Center, renovations at both aquatic facilities, Dennis the Menace Park, athletic field upgrades, golf course improvements, and the construction of the new Animal Services Facility. Jauz earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Texas Tech University and a Master of Arts in Public Administration from Sul Ross University. She is married to Chris and they have two children, Cooper and Avery.
