Join Midland's Youth Advisory Council
The City of Midland is partnering with the Bush Family Home State Historic Site to form Midland's Youth Advisory Council.
What is a Youth Advisory Council (YAC)?
YAC members will learn about municipal government, networking, public service, and leadership. The goal is to empower our youth to become active members of the community and have an everlasting effect on the future of their city.
- Who can join?: Open to students in the 10th - 12th grades
- Meeting Frequency
- Starting September 2025
- Every 4th Monday of the month starting September 2025. Pizza will be served!
- You can expect to:
- Participate in a service project developed by the group
- Receive a letter of recommendation after successful completion of the program
Applications
The deadline to submit an application is September 12, 2025. The application should be sent to the Bush family email. The first meeting will be in September.
