Most construction projects require a building permit, which must be obtained by the property owner or a licensed and bonded contractor representing the owner.

Work may only begin after the permit has been issued. Construction must start within 180 days of the issue date and cannot be paused for more than 180 consecutive days. If either of these timeframes are exceeded, the permit will automatically expire, and a new application will be required. To request an extension, please contact us at 432-685-7390.
