Clinical hours vary depending on the type of clinical services requested and are available by appointment only. Please note that these times are subject to change based on patient volume, DSHS referrals, investigations, and available staff. For all testing schedules, initial appointments, and TB medications and follow-ups, please call the Midland Health Services to book your appointment.

Frequently Asked Questions
No, Latent TB Infections are not contagious. The bacteria which causes TB is present, but since it it not being multiplied, it is not being transmitted.
We test by appointment, and results are available three (3) days after you get tested. For example, if you test on Monday, please check on Thursday for your results, or if you test on Friday, please check on Monday for results.
We conduct TB screenings on Monday, Tuesday and Friday from 8:00 - 4:30.
TB testing is available for $15, cash only. Insurance billing is not offered for this service.
Yes, because Latent TB infections are not contagious. The bacteria which causes TB is present but it is not multiplying and being transmitted.
Latent TB infection means that the bacteria which causes TB is present in the body, however it is not active. A person with latent TB infection will have no TB symptoms. A latent TB infection is not contagious.
The bacteria which causes TB is present and has become active. It is multiplying and is contagious.
Latent TB Infection is not contagious. Latent TB Infection can be treated with medication to prevent its advancement to an Active TB Disease which is contagious.
