MPD: WARRANT ISSUED FOR MAN BELIEVED TO BE INVOLVED IN MURDER

MIDLAND, TEXAS -- At approximately 5 p.m. Tuesday, May 21, 2024, Midland Police responded to a murder in the 4400 block of Parkdale Drive.
Police reported that Kendra Vollmers, 34, was found deceased inside of the residence by family members.
“Circumstances at the scene suggest that Vollmers was strangled to death,” MPD reported. “During the ensuing investigation, 54-year-old Wilburt Ray Davis was identified as the actor in the murder and a warrant for his arrest has been issued.”
Apprehension efforts are ongoing.
