Animal Services Advisory Commission to meet on Nov. 18

MIDLAND, TEXAS -- The City of Midland’s Animal Services Advisory Commission will meet at noon Monday (Nov. 18, 2024) at Midland Animal Services, 1200 N. Fairgrounds Road.

The agenda will include:

• Introductions for new commission members,
• An update on veterinarian recruitment and vacant positions,
• A 2024 Shelter Metrics Presentation,
• A recap of recent achievements and collaborations that have contributed to Midland Animal Services’ mission, including successful adoption promotions, collaborations with local organizations, and enhancements to shelter operations and services,
• Animal Services events overview,
• A review and discussion of the 2025 meeting schedule,
• Public comments.
