Adoptions at Midland Animal Services should top 1K in 2025

ADOPTIONS IN 2025 APPROACH 1,000 for MIDLAND ANIMAL SERVICES

MIDLAND, TEXAS -- Midland Animal Services has adopted nearly out 1,000 animals in 2025.

MAS reported 79 animal adoptions during the month in its September Report Card. Animal Services also reported an intake of 461 animals – including 375 strays. The outcomes included the adoptions, 48 returned to owner and 112 transferred.

Lastly, Animal Services showed a live-release rate of 73% in September (up from 62% in August). The live-release rate for the year is currently at 74%.
