CITY REPORTS HANDLING 1,405 SEECLICKFIX REQUESTS IN 2026
(March 16, 2026)
MIDLAND, TEXAS -- Through February, the City of Midland has handled 1,405 requests from residents using SeeClickFix – the City’s tool for residents to submit routine service requests and report issues to City staff.
During the month of February, the most requested items were potholes (168), parking violations on public streets or alleys (110), trash pickup of large item (64), solid waste concerns (51) and vehicle violations on private property (51).
SeeClickFix was created as a ‘311 program’ that provides residents with report tracking capabilities and a streamlined process for submitting requests. An example of that responsiveness was that City staff – on average, using the top 10 most requested items -- needed less than one day (0.84 of a day) to respond to a request) and 3.64 days to close out a ticket during the month of February.
Of those tracked by City Council district, the most closed tickets came from District 3 (generally central Midland). The 152 in District 3 outpaced the 151 from those in District 1 (generally north Midland). There were 149 reported in District 4 (west Midland) and 93 from District 2 (south and east Midland). There were 136 reported with a district referenced.
By the end of the week, the City of Midland will have responded to more than 14,500 requests since the inception of SeeClickFix in mid-2024.
