TEXAS ANTI-GANG CENTER - PERMIAN BASIN REPORTS ARRESTS, SEIZURES OF CASH, DRUGS AND WEAPONS

MIDLAND, TEXAS -- The Texas Anti-Gang Center – Permian Basin completed its second fiscal quarter of operations at the end of February.
And from Dec. 1, 2025, through Feb. 28, 2026, the Texas Anti-Gang Center – Permian Basin reported 146 felony arrests and 40 misdemeanor arrests were made (targeting five gangs). Also, the Texas Anti-Gang Center – Permian Basin seized 58 weapons, $125,401 in currency and approximately 93 pounds of cocaine, 99 pounds of fentanyl, 13 pounds of methamphetamine, 16 pounds of marijuana, 7 pounds of THC and more than 1 pound of Psilocybin.
The Texas Anti-Gang Center – Permian Basin resources and personnel assisted in the apprehension of two fugitives involved in an Ector County homicide case.
The Texas Anti-Gang Center – Permian Basin is made up of personnel assigned from the Midland County Sheriff’s Office, the Ector County Sheriff’s Office, the Midland Police Department, the Texas Department of Public Safety, the Midland County District Attorney’s Office, FBI, HIS and DEA/HIDTA.
