CITY, PARTNERS CONTINUE WORK ON T-BAR LINE VALVE

MIDLAND, TEXAS -- The City of Midland has been working around the clock with A&B Valve, a team from HyFlow, among others as repairs continue this morning on a main water line valve in northwest Midland coming in from T Bar Well Field. The installation and repair started around 11:30 PM on Wednesday evening.

We will provide updates as we learn more from the scene. Residents, especially in West Midland, will continue to experience service disruption during this time.

The City of Midland is also announcing an additional water bottle distribution at 5:30 p.m. today in the parking lot east of Astound Broadband Stadium at the Scharbauer Sports Complex (5514 Champions Drive), the same location where other distributions this past week have taken place. 

The City of Midland recognizes that the repair process has taken far longer than expected. The City of Midland profusely apologizes for the inconvenience this has caused for families and the school district, especially with the late notice of delayed starts this morning. We also recognize that this has had an impact on residents and businesses alike, and we completely acknowledge the fact that this has been unacceptable.
