TOTAL PASSENGERS TOP 70,000 AT MIDLAND INTERNATIONAL AIR & SPACE PORT

MIDLAND, TEXAS -- The number of passengers flying commercial airlines out of Midland International Air & Space Port approached 71,000 during the month of May. 

Airport officials reported the number of passengers flying Southwest, American Eagle, United or Delta out of Midland reached 70,845. The monthly total also was a 4.67% increase compared to May 2024. The number of passengers this fiscal year is up 4.51% compared to the first eight months of FY 2024.

Southwest Airlines again carried the largest share of passengers, with around 46.4% of the total. United was second at 27.2%. 

Also, higher this fiscal year is net parking revenue (8.90%).
