AIRPORT REMAINS ON PACE FOR ANOTHER PASSENGER RECORD

MIDLAND, TEXAS -- The number of passengers flying commercial airlines out of Midland International Air & Space Port remains on pace to break another record this fiscal year.
Airport officials reported the number of passengers flying Southwest, American Eagle, United or Delta out of Midland during the month of June reached 70,315, which brought the total this fiscal year to 567,067 – a 3.92% increase over the first three quarters of fiscal year 2024.
Last year, a record for passengers boarding aircraft was set at 740,219 – an 11.84% increase over FY 2023.
Airport officials also reported a banner month for parking revenue as $820,800 in net parking revenue was collected in June – a 10.31% increase compared to June 2024. Nearly $6.6 million has been collected this fiscal year.
