Health Services provides help for Midland's younger residents

HEALTH SERVICES PROVIDES SERVICES FOR NEARLY 400 YOUNGER RESIDENTS IN TWO MONTHS

(March 23, 2026)

MIDLAND, TEXAS -- Midland Health Services has helped nearly 400 younger residents (those 18 years of age and younger) through the first two months of 2026. Health Services reported helping 185 younger residents in February.

Health Department officials have also been responsible for 1,265 vaccines this year, 239 inspections, 79 patient referrals and investigating 29 complaints.

Here are the statistics from the Midland Health Department during the month of February.

  • Vaccines given: 603 (1,265 this year)
  • inspections: 102 (239 this year)
  • Complaints investigated: 15 (29 this year)
  • Invoices processed: 238 (534 this year)
  • Illegal Food vendors encountered: 2 (3 this year)
  • Patient Referrals: 43 (79 this year)
  • Services for residents 18 and younger: 185 (392 this year)
