MPD: POLICE INVESTIGATE SHOOTING AT NW MIDLAND APARTMENT COMPLEX

MIDLAND, TEXAS -- At 5:55 a.m. Monday, March 11, 2024, Midland Police responded to a shooting at a northwest Midland apartment complex.
Midland Police Department officers reported that officers responded to the Meridian Apartments, 4400 Holiday Hill Road, where they witnessed a male – the victim -- running to a near-by convenience store on Briarwood Avenue. The 32-year-old man was later transported to the hospital to be treated and released.
The man declined to press charges. Police are still seeking information on the two suspects related to the shooting. The weapon used was allegedly a .380 semiautomatic pistol.
During the investigation, police made an arrest of an individual not involved in the shooting for a narcotics charge. The investigation is ongoing.
