Midland Police Responded to Two-Vehicle Crash on Loop 250
At approximately 11:08 a.m. on Wednesday, August 6, 2025, the Midland Police Department responded to a two-vehicle crash in the 3200 block of North Loop 250 West East Service Road.
According to the initial investigation, the driver of a northbound vehicle (Unit 1) suffered a medical emergency and veered off the road, hitting two street signs. The vehicle then came back onto the roadway and hit the rear left side of another vehicle (Unit 2) that was stopped at the traffic light at North Loop 250 and West Wadley Avenue.
The impact pushed Unit 2 through the intersection before coming to a stop. Unit 1 continued through the intersection, eventually leaving the roadway again and hitting a flagpole on private property near the 3300 block of North Loop 250 West.
The driver of Unit 1 was taken to Midland Memorial Hospital and is currently in critical but stable condition. The medical emergency appears to be unrelated to the crash. The driver of Unit 2 had minor injuries.
