NORMAN CELEBRATES SHIRLEY HOWARD's EXTRAORDINARY LIFE

MIDLAND, TEXAS -- It is with a heavy heart, we bid farewell to a beacon of strength, compassion, and resilience in our community. Mrs. Shirley Howard, a formidable leader, activist, and president of the National Association of Negro Business and Professional Women's Club of Midland, has recently passed away, leaving behind a legacy that will continue to inspire generations to come.
 Mrs. Howard's life was a testament to her unwavering commitment to the betterment of her community. As a community leader, she dedicated countless hours to uplifting those around her, advocating for equality, justice, and empowerment. Her leadership was marked by an unyielding determination to create positive change, even in the face of adversity.
A true activist at heart, Mrs. Howard fearlessly spoke out against injustice and discrimination. She understood the power of her voice and used it to amplify the concerns of marginalized communities, striving to create a more inclusive and equitable society for all. Her courage in the face of adversity served as a guiding light for those who sought to challenge the status quo and fight for a brighter future.
 At the helm of the National Association of Negro Business and Professional Women's Club of Midland, Mrs. Howard was a driving force for progress. Under her leadership, the organization thrived, providing vital support and resources to African American women in business and the professions. Through her tireless efforts, she helped countless individuals achieve their dreams and aspirations, leaving an indelible mark on the fabric of our society.

But perhaps above all else, Mrs. Howard will be remembered for her boundless compassion and deep-seated love for her community.
