MPD: COLLABORATIVE EFFORT HELPS NAB FUEL THIEVES

MIDLAND, TEXAS -- On April 3, 2024, the Midland Police Department in conjunction with the Texas Comptroller’s Office, Texas Department of Public Safety and Ector County Sheriff’s Office conducted an operation regarding fuel thefts which occurred in Ward County, Howard County, Midland County and Ector County.
During this operation, the suspects were observed stealing fuel from a convenience store in Midland. Shortly after, the suspect vehicles were detained, and three individuals were arrested. During this operation, a substantial amount of fuel was located in one of the suspect vehicles.
