Passenger activity at Midland International reaches record level in April

Passengers set a record for April at Midland International Air & Space Port

(May 15, 2025) 

MIDLAND, TEXAS -- Another monthly passenger record was set at Midland International Air & Space Port.

Airport officials reported the number of passengers flying Southwest, American Eagle, United or Delta out of Midland reached 62,534, which set a new standard for the month of April. The monthly total also was a 2.18% increase compared to April 2024. The number of passengers this fiscal year is up 4.48% compared to the first seven months of FY 2024.

Southwest Airlines again carried the largest share of passengers, with around 45.7% of the total from October 2024 through April 2025. United was second at 26.8%. 

Also higher this fiscal year are fuel sales (10.20%) and net parking revenue (9.56%).
