Non-Emergency Reports: For non-emergency matters, you may contact the non-emergency number to speak with an officer or use the Police to Citizens Website for online reporting.

What is Considered a Non-Emergency?
Non-emergency incidents typically include situations that do not require immediate police response. The following are the incidents that you can file online:
Graffiti: When public or private property is defaced.
Lost Property: When property is missing or lost WITHIN THE CITY LIMITS. If you believe that your property was stolen please complete the appropriate Theft report.
Theft: When property is taken without your permission. This does not include someone physically taking something from your person or from inside a vehicle or theft of a motor vehicle. THIS REPORT CANNOT BE USED TO FILE AN IDENTITY THEFT, YOU MUST REPORT IN PERSON AT THE MIDLAND POLICE DEPARTMENT LOCATED AT 601 N LORAINE ST.
Burglary of a Vehicle: If your vehicle was broken into or items were stolen from inside your vehicle.
Vandalism: If property has been intentionally damaged or destroyed.
Vandalism of a Vehicle: If your vehicle has been damaged through vandalism (e.g., broken windows, scratched paint, etc.).
