No one injured after small plane crash at Midland International Air & Space Port

MIDLAND, TEXAS -- Midland Fire Department officials responded to a small plane crash that took place just before 5 p.m. Saturday, June 29, 2024, at Midland International Air & Space Port.
Two people were on board when initial reports came in about the crash around 4:57 p.m. No injuries were reported after the belly landing, and officials reported no need for additional EMS.
Officials stated the runaway where the landing took place is closed until the aircraft is relocated, but the airport still is operating as usual.
The FAA is expected to investigate on Monday.
