Midland Health Department identifies potential measles exposure

MIDLAND HEALTH DEPARTMENT REPORTS MEASLES EXPOSURE

(May 7, 2025)
MIDLAND, TEXAS -- The Midland Health Department has identified a potential measles exposure at the following location:

  • F. Marie Hall Outpatient Center – West Campus, 4214 Andrews Highway, from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on May 1, 2025. 

Anyone who was at this location during this time may have been exposed to measles.

 The Midland Health Department advises the public to:

  • Monitor for symptoms of measles, which typically include high fever, cough, runny nose, red eyes, and a rash that usually begins on the face and spreads downward.
  • Contact your healthcare provider if you begin experiencing symptoms. Please call ahead before visiting any medical facility to avoid exposing others.
  • Check your vaccination status. The MMR (measles, mumps, rubella) vaccine is the best protection against measles.
