MIDLAND FIRE RESPONDS TO CRASH ON INTERSTATE 20

MIDLAND, TEXAS -- At approximately 6 a.m. Wednesday (May 14, 2025), Midland Fire Department officials responded to an accident with a person pinned in a vehicle at Interstate 20 and Cotton Flat Road.
MFD officials reported four semis were involved in the accident on top of the westbound I-20 bridge (located just to the south of the Horseshoe complex).
There were no fatalities, but two people were extricated from their respective vehicles, and three people were transported to the hospital with minor injuries.
Traffic was expected to be impacted as officials removed the wreckage from the interstate.
