MFD: EMS CALLS ON THE RISE INSIDE MIDLAND COUNTY

MIDLAND, TEXAS -- EMS calls inside Midland County through the first five months of 2025 are up 8.8%, according to numbers released this week by the Midland Fire Department.
MFD also reported that EMS calls in May and through the first five months of the year (January-May) dwarf fire calls. MFD reported 1,443 EMS calls in May and 51 fire calls. Those totals rose to 7,134 EMS calls in January through May and 287 fire calls during the same period.
The Midland Fire Department responds to fire and EMS calls inside the city of Midland and throughout the county.
