History
Established in 2006 with 14 members, the Midland Fire Department Honor Guard was developed to give honor and remember active and retired MFD firefighters who have passed away. The Honor Guard allows MFD to show respect and honor to the families of fallen brothers and sisters.
The MFD Honor Guard also has been called on to post the colors at many city and local events, and assists with the funerals of other West Texas public safety agencies including fire, police and sheriff’s offices.
