Career Overview 

With a distinguished 25-year career at the Midland Police Department, Greg Snow brings a wealth of experience to his role as Chief of Police. His extensive background includes various roles such as patrol officer, field training officer, detective in property and white-collar crimes, and leadership positions including patrol sergeant, lieutenant in the Professional Standards Division, and most recently, Deputy Chief of the Investigative Services Bureau. Greg’s commitment to excellence is highlighted by his creation of a training manual for newly promoted sergeants and his recognition as Supervisor of the Year in both 2012 and 2015.

Greg is celebrated for his collaborative approach, valuing input from all levels of the department and the community. He prioritizes open communication as a key component of effective leadership and is dedicated to making well-informed decisions. In response to current staffing challenges, Greg aims to optimize enforcement strategies by focusing on high-priority areas and utilizing data-driven methods for resource allocation.
