MPD: POLICE INVESTIGATE SHOOTING AT NW MIDLAND APARTMENT COMPLEX

MIDLAND, TEXAS -- At approximately 5:55 a.m. on Monday, March 11, 2024, the Midland Police Department responded to a shooting at the 4400 block of Holiday Hill Road in northwest Midland.
Officers responded to the Meridian Apartments, where they witnessed a male running to a nearby convenience store on Briarwood Avenue. That man, the victim, was later transported to the hospital to be treated and released.
The victim declined to press charges. Because of a possible narcotics charge, investigators are still looking for two suspects traveling in a white pickup. The weapon used was allegedly a 380 semiautomatic pistol.
At this time, the suspects remain unidentified.
The investigation is ongoing.
