The City of Midland is pleased to announce the 2020/2021 City of Midland Business Micro-Grant Assistance Project application cycle. Prospective applicants must call our office to obtain an application.  Applications can be picked or emails after September 14, 2020, and are due September 28, 2020. 

The City of Midland is requesting proposals from qualified organizations or companies who may be interested in providing fast and direct economic assistance (MICRO GRANTS) for the American entrepreneur and business owners during this national health crisis. The City of Midland, utilizing Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act funds, has committed up to $500,000 for individual Micro Grants for the immediate relief of persons in jeopardy of shuttering their business or has had a significant loss of income since March 27, 2020. If you need assistance preparing the application, please call us to arrange training. 

The City of Midland is requesting proposals from qualified organizations or companies who may be interested in providing fast and direct economic assistance. The City of Midland will select one grantee to process, review and submit a recommendation to City Council for a contract agreement. City of Midland funds (95%) are to be used primarily to assist the business in jeopardy of layoffs, closings or public health mitigations.
