TRAFFIC ALERT: NIGHTTIME ROAD CLOSURE AT THE INTERSECTION OF MIDKIFF AND WADLEY
Midland, TX - The intersection at N. Midkiff Rd. and W. Wadley Ave. will temporarily close overnight between 8 p.m. - 6 a.m. for essential road improvement work. Work will begin on October 16th at 8 p.m. and is expected to last throughout the week, contingent upon weather conditions and barring any unforeseen issues.
The intersection closures will rotate in a counterclockwise manner:
- Monday, October 16th - West Side of Intersection: Closed from 8:00 pm until 6:00 am
- Tuesday, October 17th - South Side of Intersection: Closed from 8:00 pm until 6:00 am
- Wednesday, October 18th - East Side of Intersection: Closed from 8:00 pm until 6:00 am
- Thursday, October 19th - North Side of Intersection: Closed from 8:00 pm until 6:00 am
This temporary closure addresses the bumps in the road where asphalt and concrete meet on each side of the intersection. One side of the intersection will be completely closed to all traffic each night, forming a "T" intersection.
Motorists should plan their routes accordingly and exercise caution when traveling through the affected area.
