[ARCHIVED] MLK Jr. Community Center to host afternoon Spring Break camp

Kids staying in Midland this Spring Break are invited to fill their afternoons with adventure at the MLK Adventures Spring Break Camp on March 9-13.

The City of Midland Parks and Recreation Division is hosting the camp for children ages 6 through 12 from 1-5 p.m. Monday through Friday. The cost is $10 per day or $40 for the whole week.

Scheduled activities will stimulate creativity and provide entertainment, teamwork, and good sportsmanship through arts and crafts, indoor and outdoor sports, cooking class, board games and much more.

Registration is now open at the MLK Jr. Community Center (2300 Butternut Ln.) on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9 a.m.-9 p.m., and Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
