[ARCHIVED] MPD to hold public viewing of recovered stolen property

The Midland Police Department will give citizens an opportunity to retrieve stolen property through a public viewing from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Monday, April 27 at the Police and Communications Center (600 N. Loraine St.).

The items were recovered by the MPD property crimes unit and were most likely taken during vehicle burglaries over the last six months. Televisions, car stereos, digital cameras and hunting accessories and more are among the items included in the viewing.

Anyone wishing to view the items must have the corresponding case report number along with a valid driver’s license. Any individual who does not yet have a case number but has been a victim of theft may contact MPD at 432-685-7108 to file a report.
