[ARCHIVED] Texas Health Department implements new rules for serving food

Restaurateurs and anyone else serving food in Midland is invited to an update on the new Texas Food Establishment Rules by the Texas Department of State Health Services on Wednesday, Nov. 4.

Attendees can choose to sit in on one of two four-hour sessions that will be held at the Martin Luther King Jr. Community Center (2300 Butternut Lane), with one from 8 a.m. to noon and the other from 1 to 5 p.m.

The intended audience for this free session are agencies subject to food establishment regulations, such as restaurants, day cares, schools and mobile food vendors. The new rules came into effect on Oct. 11 of this year.
