[ARCHIVED] Public invited to free food truck event

The City of Midland is sponsoring a unique event for foodies downtown on Thursday, Sept. 22 with a temporary food truck park.

Presented by the Midessa Mobile Food Vendors' Association, the "Tactical Urbanism 101: Food Trucks and Parklets" event will take place on City of Midland property located at 301 N. Colorado St., near the corner of Big Spring Street and Illinois Avenue, from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Sept. 22.

Free samples will be provided by some of the best food trucks in the Permian Basin, and live music, beer, and wine will be available after 5 p.m.
