[ARCHIVED] Free Pitch, Hit and Run competition scheduled for April 26

The City of Midland's Parks and Recreation Department is inviting area youth to test their baseball skills with Major League Baseball's Pitch, Hit, and Run skills competition on April 26.


Children between the ages of 7 and 14 are invited to the free event from 5:30-7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, April 26 at Security Bank Ballpark (5514 Champions Drive).


Pitch, Hit and Run is the official skills competition of Major League Baseball and is presented by Scott's. Boys and girls are divided into four age divisions: 7-8, 9-10, 11-12, and 13-14, and will have the chance to advance levels of competition all the way to the Team Championships at Major League ballparks.
