[ARCHIVED] MPD locates two suspects in connection to Grassland Estates vehicle burglaries

The Midland Police Department property crimes unit has located two suspects believed to be involved in a string of car burglaries in the Grassland Estates subdivision.

Alicia Lewis, 30, is facing charges of burglary of a motor vehicle, forgery and fraudulent use of identifying information, and Isaac Carrasco, 29, is facing charges for burglary of a motor vehicle.

The burglaries took place between Jan. 1 and Feb. 5. With the cooperation of the Odessa Police Department, detectives were able to interview five individuals. Lewis and Carrasco were then identified as suspects in connection to the burglaries. The pair is believed to be responsible for at least five vehicle burglaries, but they could be connected to more cases.

Lewis and Carrasco are currently being held in the Ector County Detention Center on previous charges.
