[ARCHIVED] Registration now open for Midland Christmas parade on Dec. 12

The City of Midland's Parks and Recreation Division is now accepting entries for the 2015 Christmas Parade.

The parade will begin at 6:30 p.m. on Dec. 12 in downtown Midland with the futuristic-inspired theme of “Into the Future: Christmas 2115.” Registration forms are available at the MLK Jr. Community Center (2300 Butternut Ln.), the Parks & Recreation Division office (2701 W. Elizabeth), or online at www.midlandtexas.gov/Christmas. Completed forms may be dropped off or mailed to the MLK Jr. Community Center at 2300 Butternut Lane, Midland, Texas 79705, emailed to Joey Jolly at jajolly@midlandtexas.gov, or faxed with the subject line "Christmas Parade" to 432-685-7380.

The City of Midland's annual tree lighting is also scheduled to take place at Centennial Plaza starting at 6 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 5.
