The Midland City Council will gather on Monday, October 1, 2018 to discuss progress on the Midland Road Bond.
The special meeting will take place at 1:30 PM at the Wadley-Baron Duck Pond Gazebo, located near the corner of A Street and Cuthbert Avenue. Cuthbert was one of the streets which was recently repaved as part of the Road Bond. “It is important to reflect on the progress achieved in this past year, even as we look ahead,” said City Councilman J.Ross Lacy.
The Midland Road Bond, which encompasses paving, utility, and accessibility improvements on City streets, was approved by Midland voters in November 2017. The $100 million Bond called for 26 projects across the City, spread over five years.
The public is invited to attend the special meeting. For those unable to attend, information about the Road Bond is available at www.midlandtexas.gov/roadbond.
